Born and bred in Abruzzo, one of the wildest regions of Italy, I have been an amateur nature and wildlife photographer for a little more than 10 years. The interest for wildlife and photography has been strong since childhood, even if, as a photographer, the spark that made me concentrate my activities only on nature and astrophotography arrived later after some years of interest in street and travel photography.
Curiosity and the constant desire to learn and to take action in conservation, lead me to point my lens at different subjects, from the earth and its beings to the depths of the universe.
With my photos I hope to sensitize people to the protection of endangered ecosystems and eventually increase their awareness to conservationist themes.
Some of my photos have been featured in magazines and books and have been awarded in national and international contests.
I’m a member of AFNI – Associazione Fotografi Naturalisti Italiani, the Italian association of nature and wildlife photographers.
